PROMOTING A VITAL RESORT COMMUNITY
Although we don't have a specific economic development division within our town government, we do work closely with the
Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association (TMVOA), an organization whose mission is to preserve and promote a vital resort community for its
members with attention to creating a sustainable Village with a vibrant
economy. TMVOA is responsible for sponsoring a number of community-wide
events and, through their grant process, for financially supporting many
of the community's nonprofits that organize and host events in Mountain
Village. We acknowledge that TMVOA's efforts and coffers provide a stable tax revenue structure for us, and employment opportunities for our residents. In turn, we do our part by assisting in the promotion of TMVOA
events and TMVOA-sponsored events through our Community Relations
Department.
